Anping County, located in Middle of Hebei Province, is about 120 km away from Shijiazhuang City, Capital of Hebei Province; about 250 km away from Beijing and 220km away from Xingang international Port.

The wire mesh industry has a long history development in Anping. It was from 500 years ago, Anping people start to weave wire mesh products. Anping was praised the "Homeland of Wire Mesh" by Premier Zhou Enlai in 1965. There are 6,700 factories and/or workshops and over 70,000 people engaged in the production and sales of wire mesh. Export quantity of wire mesh from Anping accounts for 80% of that of China. In 1996, Anping was entitled the "Base Land of Exporting (wire mesh)". Export quantity of metal wire mesh products from Anping acounts for over half of that of China.
